If I'm found crushed to death under a heap of books, it's what I would have wanted.
Today's books are:
Paul McAuley's Players and Mind's Eye;
the illustrated British Trade Union Posters;
A Handbook of Dates for Students of British History (without doubt the nerdiest book I possess);
Nicholas Shaxson's Treasure Islands: Tax Havens and the Men Who Stole the World;
GK Chesterton's The Man Who Was Thursday;
Moorcock's The Condition of Muzak and
McAuley's Eternal Light. I like McAuley, OK?
