Losing the election, vote by vote

I missed one of the political highlights of the year: David Cameron visiting my local Asda store (he only visits businesses which have given his party money). The fun I could have had.

However, it seems, according to the Observer that it was a stop on his campaign to lose the election by alienating each voter individually by, er, meeting them:
After the Tory bus left Prestatyn in Wales, it headed to an Asda in Wolverhampton. There, Louise Anyon, a 22-year-old trainee manager, asked Cameron about pensions. After he left, she said she had been thinking of voting Tory but was now wobbling. "Nick Clegg was so brilliant," she said, beaming. "I'm very tempted by the Liberal Democrats."

There are some moments in life when you genuinely spit water/Coke over your keyboard in shock. This is one of them.

If you're lucky Vole, you'll be getting a blog visit from Miss Anyon herself sometime today...
