I don't know much about Balloon, and their album Gravity: they're pretty much invisible and forgotten, which is a shame. Cynical Ben gave it to me in one of his purges - he's pretty ruthless about it. In this case, he made the right call, because it suits my shoegazing/lo-fi tastes very well. There's a bit of punk and soul in there - certainly distinctive. Shame that's all they did.
