Curing Cancer the Uppal Way

There's no sign on his website of what Paul's attending or saying at the Tory Party Conference, but he never misses the opportunity to grab himself some good PR (he seems to average 2-3 constituency events per month, the poor overworked lamb, all designed to boost his image).

Last Friday he 'hosted' a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for cancer care, 'supported' by Wolverhampton Cricket Club and Wolverhampton Racecourse.
It was a privilege to host an event to raise money for such an inspiring charity who reach out to so many affected by cancer. They support people through the difficult times, providing medical, emotional, practical and financial support. We all know someone who have been affected by cancer, and I am sure many are aware of the work that Macmillan do in changing lives for people with this terrible disease. I'm grateful to everyone who attended the coffee morning, and helped contribute to raising just under £200 for Macmillan".

Between them, the 'supporters' and attendees raised £188.

Paul Uppal is a multimillionaire.
