Within ten minutes today, I met the best and worst of people.
Worst first: the selfish individual who thinks it's OK to play tinny music at full volume on their mobile phone in a full changing room. Unfortunately, we were all too polite to do more than stare resentfully - a pointless tactic.
Best: the Unicef for Haiti bakesale in my building today.
Pleasingly, these two encounters weren't stereotypical. The mobile phone abusing git was not some snotty teen narcissist, but a man in his forties.
The charity workers weren't aging do-gooders. They're my Media students, and a fine job they're doing. Get down there, buy some cakes or some of their fine photography. Here's a picture of some of them.

Hi. Long time reader, first time comment-leaver here -
Thanks for your support at our bake sale today! I was the chubby English student desperately trying to understand Polish.
Hope you enjoyed!
