Vorderman: the sums don't add up

Who caused the recession? Carol Vorderman. Now, she's being used by the Tories as some kind of maths whiz. Let's review her career:

First, she put magnetic letters on a board and did mental arithmetic, not always successfully:

Then, she put the trust of a nation into the hands of some loan sharks:

Meanwhile, the Tories say they're ending 'dumbing down'. Er…
Update: Kim McGowan points out that the Tories are demanding a minimum 2.2 degree for teachers (fair enough by itself) but clearly believe that it only requires a 3rd to become a Tory 'education expert adviser'. The morons.

...and wasn't there something about tory-teachers having to have a 2:2 or above? That women only got a third...

Excellent point - worth making in more public places.

Wasn't Carol Vorderman made an honorary fellow of Bangor University a few years back?!

Yes, shamefully true.

Carol Vorderman is a great addition to the ranks of us Tory Scum. Excellently placed within the demographic we want to attract (eg non-scruffs).

As an aside she has an brilliant derriere too.
