Vole, I'm suprised that you have not written about the Booker Prize which I referred to in my most recent blog.

By the way, you must listen to this: a sketch by Will Franken where Milton turns up to do PL at a poetry slam ...hilarious. http://www.willfranken.com/soundclips/poetryslam2.mp3

See you tomorrow.

Nice sentiment though I'm not sure a seventeen year old album can be described as 'contemporary' except in strict geological or palaeontological terms.

Perhaps this?

Good beards. Best name for a rock band ever - Mastodon - and the song title is pretty relevant to many departments of your institution - Oblivion.

I also like the way that every member of the band seems to sing and each with a better voice than the one before. Pretty cool video too.

It is a shame that the song isn't any better really. Mind you, I would have loved it about fifteen years ago.

I'll get round to the Booker - it didn't excite me very much this time.

Ben - thanks for that track. Mastodon passed my by… I thought they were extinct.
