Quick sport rant, feel free to ignore

World Cup Qualification proceeds apace. The idea is that after the group stages, the eight European teams who get through will play each other - unseeded.

Oops: Germany, France, Russia and Portugal are in some trouble - so the rules have been changed so that the 'big' teams will get seedings and the small ones - Ireland included will have to play the 'big' ones again. Now, Ireland can beat them, but it's a fix to give the most famous teams a helping hand, rather than let the football do the talking. It stinks.
