Gorky's, how could I forsake you?

Somehow, shamefully, I'd forgotten how good Gorky's Zygotic Mynci's Barafundle album is. I've played four Pastels albums now, so it's on to bucolic Welsh psychedelia.

Euros Childs solo stuff is hit & miss but he still has a gorgeous voice. No clue what his saying when he sings in Welsh but I hear the ladies go mad for his hair and eyes.

Patio Song is lovely though, shame the weather doesn't aid the lush sounds.

Luckily, I can just about follow the Welsh and it's rather poetic. The other Gorky's fellow (Richard James) has done some good solo stuff too.

Just listened to a Richard James album, 'The Seven Sleepers Den' in fact. It was rather good. Thanks for the tip off.
