It's been a weird day of extremes - frustrating, evasive meetings (or meetings with frustrating, evasive people) to heartfelt, sad but also joyful farewells to one of the best colleagues anyone could ever have. Somehow, shamefully, I'd forgotten how good Gorky's Zygotic Mynci's Barafundle album is. I've played four Pastels albums now, so it's on to bucolic Welsh psychedelia.
