Turns out that Rosetta Hampshire is a literary avatar for Cynical Ben. She's his alter ego (the nice one), and an exercise in creative writing.
'She' certainly had me fooled - I thought she was a feisty old dear with opinions and a writing style worth reading (as well as lots of supporting material). Who'd have thought it was the same person as young Cynical!
But wait, is that the Cynical Ben who is so very much against anonymity? Hmm...certainly a schizophrenic disposition, which I'm glad to see he can happily express online. Crazy people like us have finally found a home!
