It might just work

How do we feel about starting a slow-motion, online book/cultural activity club? We could set up a blog and share the passwords, then agree to read the same book, see the same play or film, listen to the same album or attend concerts by bands or orchestras which are touring the country, then leave our critical judgements on the site. We'd take turns, agree not to suggest anything just to annoy everybody, and steer clear of anything course-related (and I'd promise not to pull rank).

It's just an idle thought - what do you reckon?

Ooh, I love the idea, although I don't really have the finances to be going to concerts of bands I probably wouldn't like.

But, as an idea, I am in! Gives me something constructive to do over the summer. Merciless? Demon?

This is an absolutely briiliant idea Vole. I love it. I would have to agree with the above point on concerts for similar financial reasons but I am definitely interested.

Ooh yeah. I can just imagine me and Ewar at that Dido concert now. Both of us in tears - mine of boredom. But yes this is a great idea. I'd be up for it, certainly.

By the way, if you want a taste of one of the songs off Bonnie's new EP you could go here.

Pretty much all the songs are there for your listening pleasure. I recently learnt that they a re old parlour songs which adds to their ghoulish beauty.
