Just pressed 'buy' on the Apple Store. 2.53Ghz, 4Gb memory, 320Gb hard drive 13.3" MacBook Pro. Certainly the most expensive object I've ever bought, despite the Education discount. I already feel guilty…
So you went for the cheap one then? Don't worry about it - my flat resembles an Apple store (and a well stocked one at that - I've just pre-registered for the iPad.) You do realise that you'll have to buy the 30" cinema screen to go with it now?
Not the cheap one! Faster processor, bigger hard drive. I didn't want the 15" because I carry my laptop to lectures etc rather than trust the PCs in every room. My 7 year old iBook G4 is faster and more reliable than those…
I would like the iPad and big screen, but not all of us are on your enormous wage.
