How does the fashion world react to the recession? By reducing its prices? By just shutting up?
No such luck. One designer bases a range of clothes on the homeless 'look'. Wonder if these clothes will be sent to Haiti. More pictures and discussion here.

I remember once, a few years ago, I was on my way home after a house party in London, wondering through the streets with my tatty well travelled sleeping bag in hand, and probably looking pretty dishevelled, and a homeless bloke came up to me and told me of a good place to sleep. I only realised as he walked away that he thought I was homeless too. Strangely, it felt quite nice that he was trying to look out for me. I also decided that I really could do with some new clothes, but maybe I was just way ahead of the fashion scene.
You've always been ahead of the curve Neal. I believe you're 'directional' to use current fashion slang.
Ignore the hair and the sleeping mat, I really dig the outfit! I love it when guys wear indie, vintage looking stuff.
Is this not a little nod to Zoolander by a cheeky designer?
