I can answer your wimpy question...the answer is NO it is not.Runcorn has a branch, it was supposed to be going into administration but was somehow saved from the jaws of death. Whoever it is that saved it needs shooting.
Nice photos. Oh, and it goes with out saying that not only does Cannock have a Wimpy but that it opened well after the company started to collapse.Also Stafford services has what is perhaps the worst named sister restaurant in the world - Wimpy Chicken.
My headmaster at primary school used to insist that Wimpy was better than McDonalds, KFC, Burger King et al.Oh, how we laughed.
Wow. I'm sensing that Wimpy survives in places which don't feature in Lonely Planet's Hot Cities list.
