Although such types regularly proclaim that the Bible is the directly dictated Word of God and therefore Not To Be Messed With (and let's not get bogged down in discussions of linguistics, translation etc.), some rather unpleasant Christians, namely those who run Conservapaedia, have embarked on a new project.

They've decided that the Bible is much, much too liberal. All that stuff about turning the other cheek, forgiveness, being nice to prostitutes and the poor - commie nonsense. So they're editing it to produce the Authorized Guns'n'Ammo Edition, as Pharyngula notes.
