Another book dealer to empty my pockets

I use Amazon a lot, and ABE all the time. Now I've found bananas.co.uk - the clearance page for The Book People - and bought 18 new books for £19 including postage. Not quite as good as Cynical Ben, and it takes some effort to find the good stuff amongst the mainstream dross, but it's still excellent.

Damn - and now I've just bought all three of Marilynne Robinson's books from Amazon: Home, Housekeeping and Gilead. Wonder when I'll reach the point of owning more books than I can read in the course of my lifetime?

They only have 8 sports books, so for that reason "I'm out".

ABE looks interesting however - I seem to remember you recommending it in a seminar once.

Is there a catch to that banana website?? surely there must be, i went to sign up for one website but they wanted me to buy a minimum of £10 worth of books a month, in order to get my initial 6 books for 6p.

Whether you own more books than you can read in a lifetime depends entirely on the swine flu epidemic.

Perhaps you need to employ someone to read a book to you while you read another one thus doubling the number of books.

No catch to bananas - it's a clearance site.
Emma: brilliant idea.

8% off Abe with quidco - http://www.quidco.com/entertainment/books-prints/a-z/.

I'm not employed by them, honest!
