Even better than the American who searched for 'nude Geordie lasses' is this Google search, from Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada:
do i need licence in b.c to keep a monkey
Maybe you do, or maybe you don't, but you definitely need your head examined if you think that keeping a monkey as a pet is a civilised thing to do. Leave it in the jungle (or the lab).

Please don't leave me in the dark: how on earth do you know what people google?
If you sign up to sitemeter then you can see from what page people entered your blog. It is the sort of infringement of human rights that Facebook and Google are always getting in trouble for but without the selling the information to credit card companies bit.
I'd be very impressed if someone I knew travelled to deepest Canada to google a phrase which shares one word with one entry on my blog, simply to play an obscure prank! That would be truly bizarre. No, this one's genuine - you can't fiddle with Sitemeter's cybermetrics.

Thanks. But well, dear Vole, be careful not to take such information at face value...Who knows who might be pulling quick fencer's leg!
