I think all of life's problems ought to be solved in 30 minutes with simple homilies, don't you?

I've always loved Calvin and Hobbes. So much so that I spent my Philosophy prize at university on a big pile of C+H books, much to the (initial) horror of the faculty.

I've always known that the characters (named after two scary philosophers of course) are a commentary on the inanity and dehumanising structure of modern western civilisation, but I didn't know that they offer a revolutionary means to smash the system.
