A few weeks ago, I reproduced this witty Venn diagram from XKCD.com, about the clash between spiffy university website designs, and what people actually wanted to find.
Talk about prophetic. The Hegemon's brand new, very expensive site has been
awarded the worst possible score on 3 of the 5 criteria (though there are a couple of really moronic comments from potential students in there).
The universities of York, Worcester and [The Hegemon] all say that plans to overhaul their sites are in the offing.
That's balls of the highest order: it's only just been overhauled. 3rd from bottom in yet another league table… Another victory for the consultants!
