Teaching starts next week. Huge amounts of it, for which I'm unprepared, because I'm marking so much. So obviously the School decides to hold a long meeting today. And of course, there's more marking coming in this week, so we'll be teaching a lot and marking. What a logical, joined-up system!
One meeting down: my prospects for re-employment in September look decidedly toilet-bound. Now we're in a second one, despite not being enthused by the options. So we've opted to say hello to the chair (he now knows we're here) then form a splinter groups in armchairs behind the action. Interesting that all my most disreputable colleagues have opted for this one, presumably because the other option 'Blue Sky Thinking' is to vomit-inducing to contemplate.
