It's not all cuddly teddy bears

This is the first of an amazing set of photos taken in Yellowstone Park by a man sitting in his car as a grizzly bear chased a bison down the road towards him. See the rest here.

He didn't use a top quality camera and lenses - he was just in the right place at the right time. Unfortunately, both bison and bears are pretty rare in the UK. Guess I'll stick to buzzards and flowers…

Got an A for my observed teaching and reflection on my own teaching practice! My mentor sat in on my first 'sex in poetry' workshop, a lecture which tried to explain the credit crunch, and some one-to-one tutorials. Thanks for resisting the opportunity to trip me up and for laughing at my jokes, those of you who were there!
