A minor victory

It's something at least - though the cynicism and selfishness of his Mansion House speech (essentially: foreigners should serve our needs and bankers are great) horrifies me - but Cameron's court painter photographer and film-maker are now going to be paid by the Tory Party and not by the taxpayer. Even Cameron's advisers seem to have worked out that it was a really bad PR move
