The odd couple

Occasionally, people remark that Neal and I are like a married couple. It occurs to us too.

It occurred to Neal after he announced to everybody in the swimming pool changing rooms, as we dried off, that he couldn't stay over at my place that night.

It occurred to me on Saturday, as he made my dinner and I ironed his shirt. Perhaps it's time to accept defeat and join the other team…
