Seems feasible/possible given that Green is a fairly common surname and Michael a very common first name?

Would keep the pressure on the Tories (and Shapps in particular) and the campaign costs could be raised easily and quickly via crowdfunding. Michael Green need not live locally, only need to be willing to visit the constituency a few times to campaign (paid for by campaign funds) if some willing volunteers locally could be found to campaign as well. Not really about winning the seat of course, but about applying pressure and I am sure would generate a lot of media interest. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153845628469776909.post-27101227664311332082015-03-17T18:14:40.951+00:002015-03-17T18:14:40.951+00:00How to Corp Ltd was only incorporated in March 200...
How to Corp Ltd was only incorporated in March 2005 and Shapps only resigned as a Director in July 2008: http://www.dellam.com/05399983-HOW%20TO%20CORP%20LIMITED

Grant Shapps was elected to parliament in May 2005.

As for the 'spivery' - this article gives a good summary of what he was doing with one of his 'products':
http://searchengineland.com/uk-conservative-party-chair-founded-google-spamming-business-132087

Basically he was selling software which breached Google Adwords terms of service (and polluted the search engine results with junk/spam). Anyone buying this 'product' and using it would therefore in theory be open to legal action being taken against them by Google. If caught, they could also lose any pending Adsense revenues and lose their Google Ads account for life - making it very difficult in future to run any business which needed to advertise online or run online ads.

Grant Shapps is not fit to be an MP let alone a cabinet minister.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153845628469776909.post-46971243303069008102015-03-17T17:57:04.907+00:002015-03-17T17:57:04.907+00:00Yes, he's a spiv, and it's unsurprising to...Yes, he's a spiv, and it's unsurprising to see him defended by Jeremy Hunt, the first politician since Douglas Hurd to enter the vocabulary of Cockneys. The big thing here, I reckon, is that this noxious little toerag turned lawyers on a constituent. You don't consult Sue Grabbit and Run by inadvertence. Milibore should get down to the constituency and turn up at Shapps' office with the threatened constituent.Alanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16365402242052425654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153845628469776909.post-15492918612946964802015-03-16T14:03:12.190+00:002015-03-16T14:03:12.190+00:00Excellent piece & thanks for your part in maki...Excellent piece & thanks for your part in making the rest of us aware of Spivvy Shapps'vile, unethical behaviour.
Yes, unlikely we'll see him resign - MPs don't generally feel obliged to resign for their unacceptable behaviour any more & we don't have the powers to force them to.
Thanks to social media & the internet, we ALL have the power to share information far & wide - so keep it coming, General Election's round the corner.
Thanks, again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153845628469776909.post-42045277747199608852015-03-16T13:55:50.408+00:002015-03-16T13:55:50.408+00:00But that's the way media works in this country...But that's the way media works in this country! Create two seemingly opposing viewpoints, debate ad infinitum without ever mentioning the actual issue or alternative solutions. That way everyone can get all het up and have their phoney debate without ever uncovering the truth of the matter or moving things forward. See the BBC on pretty much every issue going...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153845628469776909.post-18905745708358804212015-03-16T13:18:54.079+00:002015-03-16T13:18:54.079+00:00Exactly. Commentators need to focus on the fact that this was nothing to do with entreneurship or wealth creation. But I fear they will get bogged down again in the minutiae of dates and names. If Shapps wants to write novels or anything else under a pen name while he's an MP, I'm not too bothered.

It's the actual content of these schemes - the spinning and scraping in particular - that needs to be scrutinised. All Shapps did with the s&s was create wealth for himself from Google's ad network by polluting the web with reheated spam.

I fear he's going to slide out from under this yet again because when journalists get him on the spot they're asking questions about dates and things that fail to actually nail the shadiness of the business itself.
