A very expensive student

I had to be out of the office this morning while my colleagues talked to a student. So I went to a well-known discount store to buy undercrackers (boxers, if you're interested). Half an hour later I leave with said undercrackers, a new waterproof and a new hiking rucksack. I was several pounds lighter too.

Proposition for you Vole. Would you like to be included in a free to enter World Cup sweepstake run by myself and Ewar?

There will be a guaranteed prize(s) at the end of it which may or may not be 10 copies of Nick Hancock's Football Gaffe's on VHS. Just confirm whether you're in or out to take part.

Thanks.

OK, I'm in.

Oh, good work Dan - using the famous Stoke City fan to pull in Vole. Played.

Vole - when we've done the draw (no, really) I'll email you with your team.

We may be taking this a bit too seriously.

Thanks Vole. We can be trusted to run a completely non-rigged competition. Unless Mark 'Brighty' Bright tweets us back in which case he wins.

There is a very real possibility that we have bought the same waterproof and will look like a couple on subsequent walks. If you bought a black and grey Trespass jacket...

Also. Boxers? Are you fifty eight? Have you decided a jockey short is too frivolous? Time to break out the big baggies eh?

Er… blue Trespass. Almost bought the grey one (£18!) but it was too big. Out of interest, what do you do with the hood?

Not baggy boxers, but that kind of shape. Perhaps jockey short is the right phrase. Aren't all jockeys short? Is that where the name came from?
