Swine, women and song

xkcd has a beautiful take on swine flu and Twitter (which is also spreading like a disease).

Brilliant. I despise Twatter and anyone associated with it.

You're right to do so. It's an inane waste of time as it's currently employed. Doonesbury (doonesbury.com) did a whole series of strips with Roland Hedley getting addicted to it.

As I learnt in Friday seminar that those who stayed enjoyed, I can become more understanding and wiser to the ways of Kipling and classics like Jane Eyre through more time spent reading. But rather then reading many spend their time telling their followers meaningless facts. What does Twatter offer? Will the likes of Twatter become our generation's stamp on the world? If so that is a bleak prospect.

As I am not willing to read more than a minute of that Twitter page, could anyone (preferably our kind non-mouse) please enlighten me on the relation between swine, flu and the female of our species?

Correct me if I'm wrong Voley, but I don't think he sees any connection it's just another opportunity to use a terrible pun even though it pays no relation to what he has actually written, or in this case nicked from someone else.
